Regional Jazz Clinic

Marion Performing Arts Center is proud to host the Regional Jazz Clinic for the second year in a row. Students audition to be a part of jazz ensembles and gain instruction from master instructors for a concert to be performed at 1:30pm, 2:00pm and 2:30pm. 
Come see our students participate in the creation of some amazing jazz music with students from all around the region. 
ASBOA's mission is to: stimulate interest in instrumental music, promote leisure time interest which may be continued beyond school years. ,encourage good fellowship and sportsmanship between member bands and orchestras through the promotion of tournament activities, bring before education authorities the work of the Association in order that the value of instrumental music study and training be clearly recognized, and develop a desire for good music.
The Marion High School Patriot Band is the premier instrumental ensemble in the Marion School District. It is comprised of the most advanced instrumental musicians in the Marion Schools and provides for its members the highest level of music education while providing them opportunities for both leadership development and social fulfillment while in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment. The band will provide entertaining and enriching music at Patriot football games, public concerts, and community wide events, all the time acting as the musical ambassadors for the community of Marion, Arkansas.
